WHO IS KALLIE KLUG?
Kallie has practiced yoga for nearly a decade and studied yoga in the Himalayas of India. She's since studied and been certified in traditional yoga asana and meditation, gentle yoga, embodiment practices, and breathwork.
Kallie has participated in trauma focused yoga trainings and has 6 years of self-study on how yoga and embodiment practices can help process trauma.
Her bachelor's degree from San Diego State University in International Business helped her to look at yoga through a pragmatic and skeptical-until-proven lens. This inspires her to utilize somatic and yogic practices that have been proven effective or are most efficient.
KALLIE CREATED THIS PROGRAM BECAUSE...
...she noticed a lack of factual trauma informed yoga teachers and realized a one hour group yoga session can't deliver what embodiment practices can- especially in a 1:1 setting.
She also noted that talk therapy- that so many people seek out to help relieve their trauma- does not function on the somatic level. Kallie utilizing practice that support "bottom-up" somatic healing instead of "top-down" as in talk therapy.
Kallie utilizes yoga and embodiment practices that have been proven to be effective in the context of trauma healing as recommended by psychotherapists or somatic therapists.
